Sales Representative // £45,000 to £55,000 per year // Permanent

Our Client offers a global service offer which provides packaging solutions in extruded plastic (polypropylene plates, cases, boxes and dividers, polycarbonate plates, dividers, folding containers, OEM, etc.), destined for '' a clientele of professionals in a wide variety of sectors: automotive, food, pharmaceutical, construction.
 
In 2019, the business was enhanced by the acquisition of a British group into its Plastics division in the United States. In 2020, The Group brand was created. It is an international group operating in many markets around the world. Key figures: 7 sites, 650 employees, 5 countries, 2 continents.
 
They are now searching for a:
  - Sales Representative
- Based out of France
- Scope: DACH, Scandinavia & Eastern Europe
 
Responsibilities:
The new sales representative will take over an existing portfolio of DACH customers, i.e. around  
€ 800K, including 3 customers representing € 200K each and the remaining € 200K spread over several small customers + customers in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Allocation:
- 60% prospecting in Germany and in Eastern European countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia)
- 40% following-up on DACH customers, Scandinavia, Eastern European countries.
 
Within the sales department, you will be responsible for the performance and commercial development of our polycarbonate product lines (AKYVER) in your geographic sector (Germany, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe). In this context, you are the privileged contact of the customers entrusted to you.  
·You will set up all the commercial prospecting actions necessary for the development of
your turnover and the renewal / expansion of your client portfolio.
·After a product training period, your main activities will revolve around the following assignments:
- Analysis of customer needs, development and costing of adapted solutions.
- Drafting of commercial offers (independently or in collaboration with Customer Services).
- Price negotiations, volume, timeframes and the execution of sales.
Circular Plastics Solutions - Active prospecting and participation in trade fairs.
- Implementation of a system to actively monitor the competition.
·Frequent business trips to your customers within your region is expected (3 days a week).
 
 
Profile:  
·A salesperson with a first experience (preferably abroad but not necessarily), technical, dynamic with an ambitious spirit, willing to learn, motivated and has drive. A hunter mentality.
·Higher education, high school +2 minimum in the commercial field
·Experience in a commercial function in "B to B".
·Fluency in French, German & English.
·Comfortable selling products with a technical dimension.
·Autonomous and flexible, you are also recognized for your negotiating skills.
·You enjoy teamwork and your ability to defend the interests of the company.
·Transparent, open-minded and dynamic, ambitious, highly motivated, you have drive and you want to be part of a successful team. A hunter mindset.
